A life shaped by language

My love of language was born at Convent School with Miss Haart, the most inspiring English teacher, who taught us not just to embrace our language but to understand its power. Add to that my study of Latin, French and Spanish, and you see the theme emerging

Just after turning 20, I went to work in the Netherlands and was determined to learn Dutch, not the easiest of languages! My persistence paid a significant return on investment when I leapfrogged into a 20+ year corporate management and leadership career with US and European organisations, requiring an immersion into business Dutch

My love of, and extensive experience in, human-centered leadership, together with my appreciation of the difference that mastering a business language can make at an executive level, has brought me here, to create Results in English.

As an Executive Business English Coach, we dive deep into the nuance of language,  the language of influence and connection and what it takes to integrate culturally at speed in a new environment
